Here is a round up of Christmas events in South Cumbria this weekend
Millom Christmas Wonderland
Saturday December 3 from 11am to the town light switch on at 5:30pm.
At Millom Rugby League Football Club on Devonshire Road there will be a huge selection of fabulous stalls with awesome gifts and decorations, as well as live music and some awesome games and prizes, children's rides and glitter tattoos.
Father Christmas and his elf will be in his grotto from 1pm-4pm.
There will be food stalls selling sausages, sweet treats, coffee, festive drinks and more.
Ulverston Craft Church
Saturday December 3 from 9:30am-11:30am.
At Ulverston Parish Church come and enjoy festive crafting, games and refreshments.
There will be a baby sensory area and toddler friendly toys for young children as well as a nativity scene with a real donkey for family photographs.
Walney Christmas Fair
Friday 2 and Saturday 3 December 3, from 5pm-8pm.
At Walney Community Centre, Central Drive there will be stalls full of toys, homemade crafts, gifts, decorations and more.
There will also be a Santa’s Grotto from 12pm-2pm.
Askam Rugby Christmas Markets
Sunday December 4, from 12pm-5pm.
At Askam Rugby League Club on Sandy Lane, there will be a host of festive stalls, mulled wine, mince pies and a raffle, the proceeds to support Duddon Inshore Rescue.
Dalton Christmas Lights
Sunday December 4 from 1pm-6pm.
Dalton Tudor Square will be bursting with activity; there will be street entertainment, festive music and the talent of Dalton Town Band.
Before the light switch on, visit Santa’s grotto and enjoy the food, drink and sweet stalls.
PTA Christmas event
Saturday December 3 from 6pm onwards.
Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Primary School’s PTA is holding a pre-Christmas event with a raffle, toys, stalls and most importantly…wine.
