A NEW cafe has opened in Grizedale Forest serving drinks, cakes and ice creams.
This will be the Cafe Ambio's fourth site and it will operate out of a hatch at the forest visitor centre.
Cafe Ambio is a chain with cafes based in Backbarrow at Lakeland Motor Museum, Chorley at Astley Park, Junction 36 at NW Auctions and now in Grizedale.
In Grizedale it is already supplying Lakes Ice Cream, with sales doing well over a hot weekend.
The Cafe Ambio at Lakeland Motor Museum has a 4.5 star rating on Google, with positive reviews describing it as a 'wonderful top quality cafe' and 'lovely food, even had vegan lunch.'
The new cafe in Grizedale received its supply of coffee from Brodies 1867 last week in preperation for the opening.
