CUMBRIA POLICE ANPR cameras are out and about on the A595 between Carlisle and Wigton, M6 and A689 near Carlisle today (Friday July 8).
A Police spokesman: "Road Safety Camera vans will be operating on the A595 between Carlisle & Wigton, the B5305 between Wigton & M6 J41, the M6 north, and the A689 Carlisle area."
ROADWORKS
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• M6, from 8pm March 6 to 6pm July 15, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M6 northbound and southbound, junction 42, Lane closure and closure of slip roads for lighting renewal.
• M6, from 10pm July 12 to 9pm July 19, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M6 northbound and southbound, junction 42 to 43, Lane three closures for barrier inspections, Grasscutting/safety fence/drainage works.
