A NEW state-of-the-art car retail showroom specialising in off-road utility vehicles is set to open in Carlisle.
The INEOS Grenadier retail showroom and service centre will be coming to Carlisle's Kingstown Industrial Estate.
The news follows after Lloyd Motor Group has announced a new partnership with INEOS Automotive - which will see one of the UK’s first INEOS Grenadier sales and service retail sites opening in Cumbria.
Local jobs have already been created as plans progress to open the new showroom.
Bryan Lloyd, chief executive at Lloyd Motor Group said: "This is an exciting new partnership for our customers and us.
"The INEOS Grenadier is a no-nonsense and seriously capable 4X4 designed as a rugged, capable and comfortable go-anywhere working vehicle.
"We are confident this will be a perfect fit for our customers across Cumbria and the Scottish Borders," he said.
Local 4x4 and off-road vehicle specialist Tim Aspinall has joined the Lloyd Motor Group team as part of the partnership, which he will be able to guide a customer through their INEOS Grenadier buying journey.
The INEOS Grenadier has been designed as a rugged, capable and comfortable go-anywhere working vehicle.

"We have so far established a global network of over 160 partners who understand 4X4 users and their requirements, and have a proven track record for exceptional customer service.
"We are working with these partners to ensure they are ready to offer Grenadier customers and owners the advice, guidance and support they need," he said.
