A training provider has launched a new academy to help people progress into business.

Carlisle’s System People has launched The Business Academy, an institute that matches school leavers with a range of local employers that offers a clear progression route into the world of business, spanning many different sectors, such as marketing, sales, finance, HR, and office support.

System People say as part of the programme, applicants will have exclusive access to 1-2-1 mentoring from recruitment and business specialists.

While learning through this academy, school leavers will earn a wage while they learn, and gain real-life work experience, they add.

System People say this means that you’ll learn about the world of business and adapt to an office environment much quicker and in hand, have the opportunity to progress in your career and earn a higher salary sooner.

System People has established relationships with some of the best employers in Cumbria, such as Kate Brinsen, director at Truly Independent, a financial consulting company based in Carlisle, who is signed up to the programme.

Kate said: “We are really excited about working with System People to train our new staff through their Business Academy – and can’t wait to help young people start a career in financial services.

“The Business Academy will equip young people with the skills and training to succeed in assisting with the day-to-day running of the office, supporting business growth and development – and they will earn a wage and be employed with us while doing so.”

The Academy is underpinned by a Level 3 Business Administration qualification, which is a fully funded programme, where training is delivered by System People, and employment is provided by a local company.

For any potential employer interested in having exclusive access to some of the most esteemed school leavers - contact courses@system-people.co.uk to discuss a vacancy.

On the other hand, any students who may be interested in joining the Business Academy upon leaving school should contact the office of System People, who can be phoned at 01228 210018, or message them via Facebook.
