AN ULVERSTON South Asian and Indian Restaurant wowed its customers with unique dishes on its opening night.

Bengal Rose South Asian Restaurant located on Fountain Street, Ulverston officially opened its doors to hungry customers on Tuesday, March 29.

The restaurant which is one of the few Indians in the area offers table bookings, walk-ins, and delivery service, six days a week from 5pm until 10pm.

Manager Sanny Rahman was overwhelmed and thankful for the feedback she received saying it was a brilliant first day of service.

She said: “It went really well; everyone was so nice and welcoming.

"I was glad everything came together. I wanted to make sure our staff was attentive and customers were happy and taken care of.

“It was a family kind of that everyone was so relaxed, talking to other tables and our waiters and enjoying our opening decor provided by Gemma at Gazbagz Balloons. Everyone received a complimentary glass of prosecco on the night which we've continued for the whole week!"

Sanny and her team received many lovely reviews through Facebook and Trip Advisor about the great service and the tasty food they acquired.

She said: “I’ve read all the reviews, and everyone was so genuinely kind. It really does reflect on our food, employees and business which we've spent a lot of time and resources on. We are glad it's been noticed and noted down."

“In terms of being a restaurant the food quality, taste and experience are there as we have a brilliant chef with decades of experience. In matters of customer service and experience, we want to accommodate as much as possible to the people of Ulverston. We are more than happy to cater for special events such as birthdays, family occasions and parties especially.

“We are just starting off and we want to make sure our customers are happy and our reputation is strong. We welcome feedback on all fronts."

At the end of April the restaurant will be doing a giveaway on their Facebook/Instagram page with vouchers and prizes from local businesses.

Sanny and her team are expecting to be busy for the upcoming Easter holidays so she advised people to do book in when they can.
