A charity based in north Cumbria have received a large donation to help them to continue to do their amazing work.
Jigsaw, Cumbria's Children's Hospice, have thanked Persimmon Homes for the donation they've received through a charity competition.
A spokesperson from Jigsaw said: "We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a £5,000 share of a £1 million fund supporting under-18s as a part of the charity competition held by Persimmon's Homes last year. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all our supporters who voted for Jigsaw during the competition.
"These funds will allow us to continue to provide support and fun-filled care to the children and young adults of Cumbria."
