Shoppers and traders are being given a festive boost with free parking on South Lakeland District Council (SLDC) operated pay-and-display car parks on Sundays in the run-up to Christmas.

The offer applies to the Westmorland Shopping Centre Car Park in Kendal and all pay-and-display car parks operated by SLDC in the district, with the specific exceptions of the Brewery Arts Centre and Kendal College pay-and-display car parks in Kendal and Miller Bridge car park in Ambleside.
