AN OPPORTUNITY is open to work as a housekeeping assistant at an outdoor education centre.
Cumbria County Council is calling for applicants to a housekeeping role at Hawse End Activity Centre.
The salary is £10.01 per hour on a Casual Worker Agreement and applicants have until Sunday October 24 to apply.
A spokesperson for Cumbria County Council said: "The successful individuals will be passionate about making a difference and ensuring each person who stays with us has their dietary and comfort needs catered for."
Hawse End Activity Centre is a Victorian mansion on the shores of Derwentwater which provides "a safe, caring home-from-home environment" for up to 73 residents.
"As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will support the day to day running of the house, ensuring satisfactory housekeeping in all areas, whilst also supporting with some outdoor duties. Other duties may include assisting in the kitchen and dining room."
