A WORKINGTON beauty therapist has opened her new salon and released a range of professional products.

Beth Pattinson, 28, opened her salon 'The Glow Up Club' last week after previously working in the beauty industry locally and as a Lash salon manager in Australia.

Beth said: "I rented a little room to start and quickly outgrew that so needed more space. When I started to plan my own lash supply business I knew I wanted some where to showcase these products

"The response on opening my salon has been amazing. My brand is really unique so I knew I wanted to carry it throughout the salon and designed the interior in funky pastel shades to reflect my personality"

Beth has designed her own product range including a lash range that she has created for professional technicians to use after noticing there was a gap in the market here in West Cumbria.

Beth said :"I’m really proud how all my products have turned out so far the response to them has been great."

The Glow Up Club has plans to expand in the future, bringing new staff and further employment into the town.

The business owner, said: "I plan to keep growing as a professional brand and as a business. Hopefully in the future I would like to expand the premises and team.

"My long turn goal would be to have my own Glow Up Club Training Academy."

When asked what the best thing about her career has been, Beth said: "The best thing about my job is the friendships I’ve built over the years with my clients and the transformations my services create."

"I'd like to thank my loyal clients & friends, my boyfriend and his family for their support leading up to the opening.

"Also my family for always supporting me, my mam has always my biggest inspiration after running a successful hairdressers in Workington."

Lastly, Beth would like to thank salon and spa owners for all the opportunities they have given her in the industry, helping her to get where she is today.
