A POPULAR dessert business is offering freebies to carers, NHS staff, Blue Light card holders and the homeless.
The Waffle House, situated on Cavendish Street, Barrow, is offering free hot drinks to them from 5pm until 10pm Monday to Friday.
A spokesman for the business said: "Pop in to the shop any time between these hours and help yourself to a nice hot drink now the cold weather is coming."
The company was set up by duo Kai James and partner Amy Thompson who thought of the idea because Miss Thompson's young boy really enjoys waffles.
The sweet treat takeaway business can take orders via Barrow Eats, Facebook, or over the phone for their waffles, milkshakes and brownies.
