QUOTATIONS are sought to develop a comprehensive review of the demand for sport and leisure facilities in Keswick.
A procurement opportunity is available in Allerdale as the borough council is seeking quotations on a comprehensive review, looking at the demand for sporting and leisure facilities in Keswick.
The contract is for approximately four months and the planned start date is October 18 2021.
Further details will be given on registration.
An estimate of the contract’s value is £8,000. Those interested can contact Barbara Watson of Allerdale Borough Council on: barbara.watson@allerdale.gov.uk or 01900 702521
A consultation has also been launched about the need for sport and leisure provision in Keswick following the controversial closure of Keswick Leisure Centre.
The popular pool and leisure centre was found to be in a state of disrepair when maintenance workers attended during the Covid-19 pandemic and the decision was taken to mothball the facility.
The council is currently considering options for a replacement facility.
