A FLOOKBURGH convenience store attended a national award as finalists at a 5 star hotel.
Owners of Cockles Convenience Store situated on Church Walk, Flookburgh, Wendy and Carl attended the National Federation of Independent Retailers (NFRN) Shop Local, Shop Little Hero’s 2020 awards as finalists.
A spokesperson for the convenience store said: “Thank you to all of our hardworking and supportive staff who have all helped achieve this.”
The NFRN celebrates 12 retailers who have gone above and beyond for their local community during the coronavirus crisis at the Shop Local, Shop Little Heroes Awards luncheon which took place at the 5 star hotel in Mayfair, London, The Ritz.
Each finalists received £100s of stock from Mondelez, £100s of stock from Boost, and a £100 voucher from the NFRN.
Cockles Convenience Store is open Monday – Sunday providing the local community with all their grocery needs.
