THE Great North Run will take place this weekend - with many from around Cumbria joining in on the event.
For years, many fit and determined Cumbrians have donned their running shoes and took part in the half marathon for thousands of different charities.
Here we are to show you some brave Cumbrians who have taken part in the run over previous years to raise hundreds and thousands of pounds for their chosen charities.
