THE emergency services were called out to a 'welfare related incident' on a bridge in York in the early hours of this morning (April 7).
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue say they were called to Ouse Bridge at about 4.30am with York crews including the boat and both crews from Acomb attending.
The police, ambulance and York Rescue Boat were also in attendance and York Rescue Boat has now said the incident was brought to a safe conclusion by the police on scene.
