Two walkers were rescued after becoming 'disorientated' in falling snow on a fell.
Penrith Mountain Rescue Team were called when the walkers lost their bearings near Hannah's Well, High Cup Nick.
The incident happened yesterday afternoon at about 3.55pm.
The team were able to locate the walkers via Phonefind and sent a text to their phone to provide them with directions to get them past an engorged stream.
The walkers were then able to get back on the path with visibility below the cloud.
