'You should minimise your travel where possible' – Covid-19 travel advice issued by council
Cumbria County Council has advised people to minimise travel to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
The council also gave advice on how to minimise the risk if travel is necessary.
A council spokesman said: “You should minimise your travel where possible.
“If you need to travel you should: plan your journey; wash or sanitise your hands regularly; cover your face; keep your distance from others where possible."
