An industrial estate near Brampton is to set expand after plans gained council approval.
The proposal submitted to Carlisle City Council is for the construction of a further six storage/ light workshop units within the site of Farish Ground works LTD, to provide rented accommodation at Townfoot Industrial Estate.
In the planning documents submitted to the council, the applicant explained that the project formed part of their “long term plans to redevelop the site to provide rented commercial workshops and storage”.
The current proposal provides for six units of 92sqm, housed in one portal framed building along with car park, concrete hard standing and tarmac access drive.
The units will also be formed of materials and finishes to match existing units on site.
