SAINSBURY'S supermarket has announced it's removing 18.5m plastic straws.
The move is part of an effort to reduce plastic waste, will see all twelve products in its own brand lunchbox juice carton range switch to recyclable paper straws.
The store has pledged to halve its use of plastic packaging by 2025 and become net zero in its operations by 2040.
