Carlisle is a city that is fast developing with new high street brands popping up everywhere.
Places like Lidl, KFC, Wren Kitchens and Costa are among those that a branching out and expanding in Carlisle.
We've rounded up the high street brands that have announced plans to come to Carlisle in the near future.
Lidl
LIDL has released a list of places in the UK where it wants to build new stores, and 11` of them are in Cumbria.
The supermarket chain says it wants to "continue our phenomenal growth" and "double our portfolio", which currently boasts more than 800 sites across the UK.
In the list that was revealed, Carlisle East, Carlisle West and Carlisle North was named.

KFC
Fast food giant KFC has revealed it wants to open three new drive-thrus in Cumbria.
With almost 1,000 venues spread across the country already, the fried chicken outlet wants to expand even further and has Carlisle and Kendal in its sights for the drive-thrus.
Earmarked for new sites in the list are Carlisle North and Carlisle South.

McDonald's
A FAST-FOOD chain has addressed their long-running plans to create a new drive-through branch.
The move from McDonald's comes after little progress was made on the site of their planned restaurant.

Gateway 44 has recently been completed.
Wren Kitchens is expected to come to the site early next year.

A 42,500sq feet retail park which will be home to businesses including Costa Coffee has now been completed.
Developer Chancerygate has announced the practical completion of the Gateway 44 retail park development on Parkhouse Road, Carlisle.
