A LAW firm has announced a new addition to its conveyancing department, with property transactions predicted to surge in early 2021.

Carla Seville has joined Wragg Mark-Bell as an Admin Assistant, working out of its Castle Street headquarters.

The 26-year-old, who is originally from Norfolk and a former pupil at William Howard School in Brampton, recently completed a degree in Criminology with Policing and Investigation with the University of Cumbria.

Despite her final year of studies being derailed by the pandemic, she is pleased to land a highly sought-after position at a leading local law firm so soon after achieving a First Class Honours degree.

She said: “I was extremely nervous to start a new job in the middle of a pandemic but I am thoroughly enjoying my time working alongside such a hardworking and friendly team.”

Having gained an interest in policing and criminology whilst studying at Carlisle College, she says that her knowledge of the conveyancing process has improved immeasurably since joining Wragg Mark-Bell in December.

Miss Seville continues: “I had been searching for admin vacancies within the local area, particularly in law and criminology-based roles.

“I noticed that the firm was advertising and applied for the current vacancy as it seemed like a nice place to work and dog friendly.

“My dog, Buddy, has already had his first visit to the office and absolutely loved it. He is quite energetic and very friendly so he loves every opportunity to meet new people and dogs.”
