A CARLISLE sandwich shop has been given permission to turn into a takeaway.
The city council has given the go-ahead for the shop in Botchergate.
The proposal has been by the owners of the Snack Shack.
The applicant is listed as a Mr T Ip, from Carlisle.
According to the application form, the hours of operation would be from 5pm to 11pm, from Wednesday to Sunday and would include bank holidays.
One of the nine constraints that the council has listed is the fact that “the proposal relates to land or premises situated within the Botchergate Conservation Area”.
In the decision letter the council said it must restriction its opening hours to between 9am to 11pm Monday to Sunday.
