Christmas is the time to be jolly and the time for festive fun.
As we're now into December it's usually the time for Christmas carols and pantomimes.
No aspect of theatre is more prone to nostalgia than pantomime.
For many children, pantomime remains the only theatre experience of the year. At its best, pantomime is a celebration of the child in all of us.
It's one of the only performances everyone is willing to take part in, parents look forward to watching their child perform in the school panto and children look forward to seeing the panto at their local theatre.
Although many performances may not be able to go ahead this year, we've taken a look at past ones to bring back some festive memories.
