A property perfect for those with a love of sea breezes and solitude has gone on sale.

A hut on Silecroft beach is being offered to prospective buyers with a guide price of between £3000 and £5000.

The timber framed and clad hut, which is being sold by H&H Land and Estates, has approximate external dimensions of five metres by four metres, and is surrounded by a stock-proof fence extending for an area of around 100 metres squared.

It can be used only as a beach hut and is not to be occupied overnight or used as a permanent residence.

Katie Hunter, chartered surveyor for H&H Land and Estates, said: “This is a really unusual and exciting property, offering so much for such a reasonable price. In the area there are a number of beautiful coastline walks, in both northerly and southerly directions, and the beach hut itself offers a lot of potential to upgrade and modernise, subject to planning permission.”

The hut is for sale by informal tender with offers to be submitted by midday on September 11.

Katie added: “Given the year we have all had and the way COVID-19 has affected many people’s lifestyle choices, we expect this beach hut will tick so many boxes for those seeking outdoor space in peaceful, scenic settings. We strongly recommend an inspection so that the incredible attributes of this outstanding site can be fully appreciated.”
