A BARROW man is due to appear at a crown court after being charged with sexual assault.
Nathan Daniel McPoland, 22, is accused of one count of attempted sexual assault and another of sexual assault, both against a woman aged over 16, in 2019.
At South Cumbria Magistrates' Court the defendant, of Hibbert Road, had his case sent for trial at Preston Crown Court on September 4.
