A Workington man has been tagged after he admitted assaulting a police officer and harassing a woman.
Daniel Morton, 39, of Stanley Street, Workington, appeared before magistrates on Monday.
The court heard that on May 2, Morton assaulted PC Render while he was on duty by beating him.
The incident happened in Workington.
Morton also admitted harassing Jane Morton between October 20 or last year and February 24.
Magistrates placed Morton on a four-week curfew, meaning he will have to be at his home address between 8pm and 7am.
He was told to pay £95 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
