A HAPPY couple who had been engaged for two years spent just five weeks planning their wedding before saying ‘I do’.

Louise Bell and Enio Da Silva met on social media in early 2017 and their romance quickly blossomed.

Just a few months later, they were engaged on October 20 the same year.

They finally decided to book their wedding at the start of 2020 as they felt they were never going to tie the knot.

They opted for a simple ceremony at Lady Gillford’s House in Carlisle followed by a reception for 14 close family guests at the Mango Tree, Cardewless, near Carlisle.

Louise, 28, an optical assistant at Specsavers, was walked down the aisle by her mother Elaine Bell.

The bride wore a Verise satin gown from Bridal Wishes, Denton Holme, and her hair was put up by Rosie Leighton of Nirvana Hair, also based in Denton Holme.

Her three-year-old niece Ella McMillan was her flower girl and Enio’s cousins Nuno and Carlos Sousa were best men.

Photographer Pedro Paiva was on hand to capture their special day.
