Research has shown a huge 40,000 adults in the city don’t have a will – but one company has a solution.
FreeWills.co.uk is offering those over 18 throughout Carlisle and the rest of Cumbria the chance to create a will to address the issue.
Managing director Carl Christensen said: “Our mission is to provide an easy way for every British adult to make a personalised will, for free.
“We are here to help people make sure that their family and friends, and the charities they care about, are looked after.”
He continued: “Ninety-five per cent of people have relatively straightforward affairs, and we have made it as easy as possible for them to create a will for free online.”
