A hotel group is has offered up their kitchen services to NHS staff by making them 100 roast dinners on a Sunday.

The Dunes Hotel, Coast Bar and Restaurant started its kind-hearted service last week and has pledged to continue doing so as long as they can during the coronavirus crisis.

The company said that now their kitchen has closed they did not want any food to go to waste.

A total of 100 roast dinners were donated and delivered to Furness General Hospital courtesy of Dunes Hotel and Lucidity Group.

Their sister establishment Townhouse.211 also donated fresh produce to Barrow Community Kitchen, which is working to provide those in need with vital meals.
