Accountancy firm Dodd & Co has promoted six of its staff into management positions.

In its Carlisle office, Laura Jackson and Robert Nordon have been promoted to accounts department managers, while Suzanne Armstrong takes up the role of client manager, specialising in cloud accounting and Jo Coleby becomes a technical VAT manager.

Laura and Robert will help to manage the accounts teams within the firm and will take active roles in the training, development and recruitment of staff, including its regular intake of apprentices.

Laura, of Carlisle, joined Dodds in 2016 and specialises in family businesses’ accounts and charities.

Robert, of Kirkbride, joined the firm in 2018.

Suzanne joined Dodd & Co after graduating from Manchester University with a maths degree.

Jo joined Dodd & Co in 2016, having relocated home after being based in the North East for 10 years.

In the firm’s Penrith office, Gregg Smith, of Wigton, has been promoted to a healthcare manager and Becki Higgins becomes a support manager.

The firm employs over 180 staff across its two offices.
