A COMMUNITY centre has unveiled plans to hold another series of pantomimes after a successful first run.
Harraby Community Theatre held their first set of pantos last December with Dick Whittington, which exceeded expectations of the cast and crew.
The story of Cinderella will be the second show to take place across three days between December 11 and 13.
A total of four performances will be held, including a matinee.
Liz Jackson, centre manager, said: "We're thrilled to be returning with another panto this year.
"The cast is made up of volunteers within the local community, most who have no previous acting experience.
"Daniel Millar approached us last Summer with his idea of producing the first pantomime.
"It's something we have always wanted to do in our theatre but have needed some guidance.
"We held auditions and again we were amazed by the talent people have. Last year all three shows sold out.
"We wanted to keep the ticket price as low as possible to make it affordable to everyone.
"We didn't have any budget but we managed to secure some grant funding from DRS, Carlisle City Council local councillors and Cumbria County Council Local Committee.
"We spent many weekend hours making & painting our costumes and scenery.
"Learning lines and dance routines didn't come easily to all involved but with the support and encouragement of each other we managed to get it right, well sometimes."
Tickets are on sale now and are priced at £4.
