A legal firm has made a new appointment.

Solicitor Verity Gawthorp has joined The Rural Law Practice, which is the specialist rural legal section of Thomson Hayton Winkley based at the J36 Auction Market at Crooklands.

Verity has joined the practice from Wrigleys LLP in Leeds. She specialises in all aspects of agricultural and rural property matters including; agricultural tenancies, sales and purchases of agricultural property, residential and commercial leases and the first registration of unregistered titles.

Verity said: “I am delighted to have joined the Rural Law Practice.

"It is great to be working with such an experienced team dedicated to all matters relating to rural law. I have always focused on agricultural and rural property law, especially first registration of unregistered titles, and being married to a farmer understand the complexities of the industry from both a personal and legal point of view.”
