Staff at Lakes College have been awarded an award for their commitment to health and wellbeing at work.
Workers at the Lillyhall campus have achieved the bronze level of the Better Health at Work Award, which rewards workplaces which recognise and tackle health issues.
Lakes College was judged by an external organisation
The college promoted campaigns throughout the year, included a mental health awareness campaign and a nutrition and hydration week.
It has also introduced health advocates who actively work to promote a healthy working environment. They act as the first point of contact for everyone at the college, and provide resources and information relating to the promoted campaigns.
Neil Anderson, head of human resources, said: “The college is extremely proud of everyone who has worked hard to achieve this incredible award.
"Our health advocates have done an incredible job."
