Sarah Heal has joined Carlisle law firm Wragg Mark-Bell as a private client paralegal.

Originally from Cambridgeshire, she moved to Cumbria 15 years ago.

She worked in admin and estate agency before moving to Arnison Heelis solicitors in Penrith, where she joined the private client team.

Sarah stayed with the firm for 11 years gaining experience in wills, powers of

attorney, probate and estate administration and qualifying with a STEP certificate in 2009.

She became an affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners in 2013.

Sarah then moved to Atkinson Ritson solicitors in Carlisle for two years before taking up her new post with Wragg Mark-Bell last month.

She said: “I was approached by Wragg Mark-Bell and thought they were a forward-thinking young company. I also like the fact that good client care is important to the firm.”

Her role includes drafting wills, lasting powers of attorney and estate administration after a person has died.

Sarah, 49, added: “I love the variety of clients and I like meeting people. No two days are the same.

“I enjoy helping people at a difficult time of life – it’s nice to be able to reassure people and point them in the right direction.”

She lives in Denton Holme, Carlisle, with her husband Rob, who works as a postman in the city.

Sarah added: “Outside work we like to do a lot of walking and we really like to holiday in Scotland in the middle of nowhere.

“And I am a big reader – I love sci-fi and fantasy. It’s complete escapism.”
