PLANS have been submitted to convert a cottage at the back of a health centre into a home.
A planning application has been submitted to Barrow Borough Council to convert a redundant building, called Walney Cottage, behind Burnett Edgar surgery in Central Drive on Walney.
The plans reveal the building in question has not been used since 2015.
The application does not reveal who is behind the plans.
A decision will be made by the council's planning department following a public consultation which is due to end on January 5.
