Cumbria Local Enterprise Partnership has released a highlights video it created of its activities over the last 12 months.

It was first broadcast at its annual general meeting, held last month.

The organisation, created to drive economic growth in the county, has granted cash to developments including Carlisle Lake District Airport, Windermere Jetty, James Walker in Cockermouth and M-Sport in Dovenby.

Their bosses, including Kate Willard, of Stobart Group and Malcolm Wilson, of M-Sport, feature in the video, which celebrates Cumbria LEP's contributions to the county.

Chief executive Jo Lappin said: "Cumbria is now seriously on the map and people recognise that we have got a national offer to make.

"For me, 2020 is the year we really capitalise on that offer."

Almost 100 business people and public, voluntary and community sector partners attended the event.
