A BARROW care home may soon get access to new dementia-friendly technology.
Barrow Local Committee has been asked to contribute up to £6,500 towards a ‘tiny tablet’ for Parkview Gardens care home.
The ‘table style’ tablet offers a range of apps and has been found to prove popular at other care homes.
A decision will be made by local county councillors at a meeting at the Nan Tait Centre on Friday, September 20, chaired by Cllr Kevin Hamilton, the Labour member for Risedale and mayor of Barrow.
