A skin care company is celebrating winning top honours at a prestigious international awards for a product range designed specifically for men.
Pure Lakes, based in Staveley, was recognised at the Natural Health International Beauty Awards, taking the trophy in the male grooming category.
Owners Gareth and Claire McKeever took over the decade-old business three years ago.
Gareth said “Claire, the team and I are absolutely thrilled to have won this award. We’re really happy to have our men’s range recognised nationally at an event as prestigious as this.”
The team was presented with the award by organic living expert and creator of her own natural beauty range, Jo Wood.
Claire said: "Gareth and I had both used Pure Lakes products for many years and effective plant-based skin care is something we are both extremely passionate about.
"We’re so excited to have the opportunity to build on the high quality, sustainable and eco-friendly foundations laid by Pure Lakes’ founders, Iain and Sandra Blackburn a decade ago.
"We were among Pure Lakes' earliest customers, so to enjoy this level of success with a product we’ve loved since before getting directly involved is an absolutely tremendous feeling."
