Lake District Hotels Ltd raised £1,175 for Keswick School by taking part in an annual charity dragon boat event on Windermere.
Seventeen eager employees took part in the Dragon Bay regatta on July 7, competing against 14 other teams.
Each team took part in two qualifying races in a bid to reach the final.
Lake District Hotels Ltd made it into the top six fastest teams and bagged fifth place.
Marketing director Dani Hope said: “I’m so proud of our team. The spirit was high between us. It was a great way for us to raise money whilst participating in a fabulous team building activity!
"It’s safe to say everyone enjoyed the day’s events and we’re already looking forward to next year.”
Lake District Hotels Ltd runs the Inn on the Square, Skiddaw Hotel and Kings Arms in Keswick, the Lodore Falls Hotel and Borrowdale Hotel alongside Derwentwater, and Inn on the Lake at Ullswater.
It has partnered with Keswick School, its charity of the year, to help fund an improved food technology kitchen to encourage more pupils to take up hospitality careers.
