Firefighters spent more than two hours battling a blaze at an agricultural premises in Eden.

It happened at Penny Hill, South End, Bolton, in the early hours of this morning.

Two fire engines from Penrith and Appleby were called to the scene at 3.40am.

A horse box, in a menagerie of small buildings, was on fire.

Crews used two hose reel jets and a compressed air foam system to extinguish the fire.

They were at the scene for two and a half hours.
