A MAN who raided a home leaving with a haul of jewellery and a mobile phone worth more than £7,000 has been barred from entering Cumbria.
Anthony Padgett, 23, appeared before Magistrates in Carlisle on Tuesday (June 5).
Pam Ward, prosecuting, said Padgett was found in possession of stolen jewellery by police and was subsequently arrested.
Defending Padgett was Chris Toms.
Padgett pleaded guilty to the charge of dwelling burglary and theft, with no violence.
He entered a home in Cushag, Nateby Road, Kirkby Stephen on March 20, stealing jewellery and a mobile phone.
The haul was valued at about £7,500.
Padgett, of Windmill Road in Leeds, has been bailed on the condition that he doesn’t enter Cumbria until his next court appearance.
He will appear before Carlisle Crown Court for sentencing on June 10.
