A business has launched a new arm to help promote wellbeing in the workplace.
See Events Ltd, based in Kendal, has launched Wellbeing at See Events in response to emerging research to support the importance of personal wellbeing in the workplace.
It is being led by associate counsellor, psychotherapist and outdoor therapist Lee Irving.
He said: “With over 500,000 UK employees suffering and a total of 15.4 million working days lost due to work related stress, anxiety and depression in 2017/18, poor workplace mental health is becoming endemic.”
Lee has developed workshops featuring a short introduction to stress and focusing on using the outdoors as a way of dealing with it.
