Spiritual readers, healers and a host of holistic therapies will be on offer during an event at a museum.

Whitehaven’s Beacon Portal, in the Beacon museum, will play host to an event organised by Sacred Haven Holistic Events.

It will be a one-day fair on Sunday, March 24 that will provide a unique introduction to the world of holistic therapies. More than 40 exhibitors, talks and workshops will be part of it.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to CFM Cash for Kids.

Emma Louise Summerfield, of Sacred Haven Holistic Events, said: “After the amazing positive feedback and energy created from our first event in September, I’m excited to bring back the opportunity of experiencing the wonderful benefits of holistic therapies to local people.

“It will provide a great networking platform for businesses in my hometown of Whitehaven, while helping a great cause which helps disadvantaged children right here in our local community.”

Elizabeth Kwasnik, Director of the Beacon Museum, said: “The Beacon Museum and Portal offer not just a taste of our local heritage, but also a great community hub for events such as these.

“The Beacon Portal is a new space that is for the benefit of the local community, and opportunities to engage with lifestyle, health and wellbeing choices are important to us.”

The event will take place from 10am until 4pm and admission is £2 per adult with all children under 16 receiving a free wrist band to explore the museum.
