Storm Gareth causes power cuts in Barrow and Marton
STORM Gareth has caused a number of power cuts across Cumbria overnight.
Homes in the Ramsden Street area along with some near Marton and Pennington are without power this morning.
Approximately 240 homes have been affected.
Electricity North West estimates that power will be restored by mid afternoon today.
A number of other areas in Cumbria, including Grasmere, have also been affected by power cuts.
