The family of a 19-year-old man who died after he was hit by a lorry on the M6 have paid tribute to his life.
Dylan Murphy, aged 19, from Gretna, died in the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle on Friday (March 1).
His family said: “Dylan was a wonderful son who will be sorely missed.
“He was funny, and had a magnanimous personality. He drew people in wherever he went. He leaves behind a heartbroken mum, dad, sisters, partner, son, nan, uncles, aunts and many, many friends.”
The collision happened in the early hours of Saturday, February 23. Mr Murphy was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle following the incident.
Anyone who witnessed this incident, and has yet to contact police, is asked to get in touch referencing incident 40 of February 23, 2019.
