A MAN has who was convicted of stealing a charity box from McDonald's and assaulting a man has been in court again.
James Foxcroft, 30, of Foxhouses Road in Whitehaven appeared before Carlisle's magistrates' court on Thursday
He was charged with three counts of failing to comply with two seperate community orders, which were issued in October and December last year respectively.
The October community order was given by West Cumbria Magistrates' for a long list of crimes, which included stealing a charity box from McDonald's in Whitehaven, assaulting a man and stealing from numerous Whitehaven shops.
The December community order was issued for a further string of thefts from Whitehaven shops.
For the latest offences - of which he denied two of the three - he was found guilty of all charges by the court.
The breaches took place between October and December of last year.
He was sentenced to prison for 48 days.
