A south Cumbrian PR firm has won a contract to deliver content and marketing services for the Holker Group.

32West, established in May, will work across the group’s portfolio of businesses, which includes Holker Hall and Gardens, Cartmel Racecourse, Burlington Stone and leisure sites, Longlands and Old Park Wood.

The partnership was announced formally by the Holker Group board of directors at their first meeting of 2019.

Chief executive of the Holker Group, Allen Gibb, said: “We are delighted to have secured the services of the team at 32West.

“This is a key period in the history and development of the Holker Group as we build upon the unique and rich heritage of the Cavendish family, the estate and its businesses whilst looking to the future.

"There is lots to look forward to this year, with new events at Holker Hall and Gardens, an innovative venture between Simon Rogan and Cartmel Racecourse and, of course, Cliff Richard's concert all among a packed calendar.

“The 32West team will help us to engage with our loyal customer base, while reaching new audiences who are yet to experience everything the Holker Group has to offer."

The Holker Group is owned by the Cavendish family and is based at the historic stately home of Holker Hall, in Cark, near Grange-over-Sands.

The business joins a growing client list for Ulverston firm 32West which was set up by former regional editor James Higgins.

He was joined soon afterwards by Frank Stretton, the former commercial director of CN Group, who became a partner and shareholder in the business.

Frank said: "The team here at 32West are thrilled to have been appointed as media partners of the Holker Group.

“The Holker business has outstanding brands and we're all looking forward to working and supporting them over the coming weeks and months.”
