Theresa May's Withdrawal Agreement has been defeated in Parliament by 202 votes to 432 votes.
MPs began voting on the government's Brexit deal shortly before 7.30pm, with the result announced soon after.
It is the largest defeat in a Parliament vote since the 1920s.
The leader of the opposition, Jeremy Corbyn has tabled a motion of no confidence in the government.
This motion will be debated in Parliament tomorrow.
