A CARLISLE man has been banned from driving for 45 months and ordered to pay £820 for driving under the influence of two illegal drugs.
Wayne Banks, 23, of Metcalfe Street, was driving in Wigton on November 16, 2017.
Banks exceeded the limit for ecstasy and benzoylecgonine (the main product in cocaine), and exceeded the limit on the latter by more than 10 times.
He pleaded guilty to both charges and was sentenced on January 7 at Carlisle Magistrates' Court.
The court fined him £700, ordered him to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £35, and was instructed to pay £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
Banks was also suspended from holding or obtaining a a licence for 45 months.
