Police are investigating the theft of between two and three tonnes of firewood in north Cumbria.
The alleged theft took place between 3pm and 3.30pm on New Year's Eve, while the wood was being stored on the roadside between Sandy Brow and Rosley School, Wigton.
Officers say a large blue van was seen in the area prior to the theft taking place.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting log number 52 of January 4.
